Well, this past week has been an adventure as always. I really don't get on here enough to write about everything I want to write about..and by the time I do find time, I can't remember half of it! So I will just start with yesterday!
Yesterday my parents wanted to go buy me a jacket because my snow suit is getting ridiculous, and it hasn't been under 50 since...well since I was born! While buying the jacket they needed a new shower hose (daddy had an accident with the other one I was told).
So we go to Fox, no jackets in my size... So daddy says lets go into Allonim there are some shops there and I can get the hose. So we go, still no jackets in my size but we do find a hose! As we are leaving daddy says, "hey, lets get her passport picture while we are here". That would have been a GREAT idea....IF I was awake....Mom responds, "lets make sure they will do newborn pictures before we wake her up." I am sure I was thinking 'please say no, please say no'....well the stinking guy said yes....what happens next is just WRONG!!!
Mom wants to wake me, but doesn't want me ticked off at the world....she uses her weapon that WAS born against me and DOES prosper....she didn't bring my bag in from the car so I knew what she was doing when she asked daddy to 'take off one of his 5 shirts'. She was going to offer me the one thing I can't say no to...MILKIES!!!
I woke up, I was getting my 'milkies' then all of a sudden I hear this man say, 'okay'. Mommy took my milkies away, propped me up in her lap and BAM....I saw what I thought was the light of God. I was already ticked about not sleeping, then mad my snack was taken, now I feel like Beyonce with bright flashing lights around me...WHEN WILL THIS MADNESS END??? The guy was taking his sweet time, asked mommy and daddy if they liked the picture, they said it was fine. Mommy said she just wanted to take me to the car and feed me. Best idea I heard all day!
So that is what mommy did while daddy waited for my picture. I could only assume it wouldn't be my very best photo...but I had no clue what I was in for until daddy came back....
WHAT? YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME? DID YOU REALLY SAY THIS PICTURE WAS OKAY???? IS THIS MY MUG SHOT??? Do me a favor next time mom and dad..let ME decide if the picture is okay! Guys, you should see this picture...I knew it wouldn't be great but WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?? My face is red because I am ticked off, I have sleep lines on my cheek, I have all my baby acne which makes me appear totally blotchy, and to top it all off my lips are pursed in such a way one can only assume I am clearly in protest to this idea! As a woman, I thought my mom would have understood and retook the picture! Daddy said she just wanted to feed me and for me to be happy...well now when I show up on databases around the world people will think this is a mug shot, not my passport photo!
So, at the end of the day I don't get a jacket and I got my first mug shot done...at the end of mommy and daddy's day they got a new shower hose and a good laugh when looking at my picture. Mommy and daddy 1 pt Rosie 0pts!
