BOOM SHAKA-LAKA!!! I told you I was planning a grand appearance! Man, I wish you could have heard my mom sweating the night before I came....I think she really thought I was going to be stuck inside of her forever! Little did she know that while she was crying tears of uncertainty, God and I had my debut underway!
I woke my mommy around 5:45 with my first of many contractions...she knew right away they were the real deal! She woke daddy to tell him, and then told him to go back to sleep....I don't even really know my dad yet...but PRETTY SURE he couldn't fall back asleep...just sayin!
Anyway, they left for the birth center at 8:30 and I was here by 12:29pm! Mommy was praying all morning, "Lord, bring her between noon and one"...we wanted her to know that we have been listening and not ignoring her!
It was pretty awesome, my mom thinks I have nice lungs...but MAN you should have heard hers! When she was pushing she was screaming! I won't even pretend it was all peaceful, she was like an Aztec Warrior...I think daddy needed a shot to handle mommy not having one! Mom told God, " I have 3 pushes in me, if You don't have her out in 3 you have to get her out on your own!" Of course, God knew she had 3 pushes, He gave them to her...I was out in 3 hard pushes! I am quiet the beast! I am 3.95kg or 8.7lbs and 52 cm or 20 1/2 inches!
I have to admit, I loved the birth center atmosphere, it was very peaceful, minus moms screams for the last 6 contractions! I loved the water...it was so warm! I came out with my moms "water sack" on my head...apparently it was supposed to break...mine didn't, it looked like a nice jelly fish in the tub! I know what jelly fish are because my mom loves the movie Finding Nemo!
Anyway, I'm pretty rockstar I eat, sleep, do the doo, and chill! I only cry when I'm cold or hungry! My favorite place to sleep right now is daddy's chest...mommy told me it would be because it's her favorite place to sleep...I know exactly what she means now!!!
Well friends, I will be seeing you on the flip side! I have business to attend to! I have to play with mommy, she is getting lonely! My mommy will tell you all about her experience on hers and daddy's blog! Have a blessed day!
