I can't believe it...my mommy told me she would never let anyone...EVER hurt me! Do you know she knowingly walked me into the doctors office today for SHOTS! Now I know how my cousin Crimson (my auntie Kelty's doggy) feels when Auntie Kelty takes him to the Uncle Joe's (he is our uncle and our vet). No wonder he doesn't like it...I don't like the doctors either. I'm not going back! HUMPH! If I had teeth....oh the things I could do! My mean growl and stare are nothing without teeth...can't wait for those to come in, in a few months! And you can't muzzle me like you can a dog ha ha ha!!!
So anyway, I have been sleeping basically all day...to punish mom I think I will just stay up all night..that is what I did last night when I first heard the word 'shot'. Anyway, I'll let you know how that goes.
As for me, this past month has been great! I am growing like a weed mom says. Since birth I have gained just over a pound and I have grown 2 inches! As of today I weigh 9.9 lbs and I am 22 1/2 inches long. The doctor says I look like I will be tall and lean, like my daddy!
I have hit a lot of milestones this past month. I smile when you talk to me (I just started that this week). I talk back now...I like when mommy and daddy talk to me and sing with me. Daddy has his playlist he does with me, Piggy Toes is my favorite and mommy has her list! I like toys now, I even bat at them when I am interested in them. I do a great job of holding up my head now and turning it side to side when on my tummy...I am also beginning to use my arms to do push ups. Daddy has me doing "air squats" with water bottles right now...and we do calf raises. I'm just getting ready for Notre Dame! Some other fun stuff I do, well I like my hands, so I suck on them from time to time...daddy doesn't like it, but mommy tells daddy to let me do it, that I am discovering myself...she is right! OH I also don't have to be held 24/7...I like to just play with my toys from time to time. That is all I can think of right now about what I can do.
I am also beginning to show my personality. I am a little of mommy and a little of daddy. I am patient like my daddy. I let my mommy suck my boogies out of my nose and I hold really still. I also let her get eye boogies out without moving. Also I allow her to get the wax off the outside of my ear with her pinky nail and I let her trim my nails. HOWEVER, I am like mommy because I am NOT patient when it comes to being hungry or tired...DON'T mess with me when I'm eating or sleeping...I get REALLLLLLY ANGRY just like mommy :). In other words, while I am eating or sleeping don't do all of the above, cut my nails, clean my eyes or mess with my nose!
Something else I do like mommy...daddy just pointed this out because mommy says she hates that I do it, but I like to sleep with my face in touching something...my hands, a chest, blankets, my sleeve...anything I can find. I like to bury my face. Daddy pointed out to mommy that I get it from her. He showed mommy how she sleeps...then mommy thought about it and realized daddy is right. Mommy always buries her face in the pillow, blankets or daddy's chest. So she can't be to mad at me!
Well this pretty much sums up my first month and my day of shots :(. I hope you are all doing well! MY GRANDMA AND UNCLE COME THIS WEEK SO I AM SOOOO EXCITED! I can't wait to blog all about it!
